Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026-10-22
This policy explains what Restaurant Email Kit (restaurantemailkit.com, owned and operated by Lunonia Inc.) keeps about you, why, for how long, and who processes it for us. There are no accounts; we don't sell your data.
1. What we keep and for how long
- Your drafts: the choices you made, the offer you typed and the draft the writer made, linked to a random device ID. Deleted after 90 days.
- The email address you leave (to keep writing, to get a draft by email, or for a waitlist), where you left it, what you picked with it (your email platform or POS), whether you confirmed it and whether you unsubscribed. Kept until you ask us to delete it.
- A poster you send with the poster-to-email waitlist: kept in our file storage and deleted after 180 days.
- A random device ID, kept in your browser's storage and in a cookie: counts your free drafts and lets this browser email its own drafts to you.
- Your IP address: used to limit drafts and emails per network, to stop abuse and to tell which country a visit comes from. For the limits we store a salted hash of it, not the address itself.
- Usage events, linked to the device ID: the page you landed on, the site and campaign that sent you, device type, country, and actions such as writing or copying a draft, answering our one-question survey, or joining a waitlist. Kept until you ask us to delete them.
2. The emails we send you
We email an address only after it is typed on the site: the draft you asked for, or one note after you leave it. Each email has a link to confirm the address and a link to unsubscribe. If you confirm it, we may also tell you when one-click flow import, the poster converter or the email ROI dashboard is ready. Unsubscribing stops all of these, except a draft you ask us to send.
3. Who processes data for us
- Cloudflare runs the Service: hosting, the database (in eastern North America), file storage, sending our emails, and Turnstile, which may run a check in your browser before your first draft or email of the day.
- fal.ai (Features & Labels Inc., United States) runs the AI model (ByteDance Seed 2.0 Mini) that writes the drafts, using your choices and the offer you typed. It doesn't receive your email address. How long fal keeps requests is set out in fal's privacy policy.
- Plausible Analytics, which we run on our own server, counts visits on restaurantemailkit.com: the page, the site or campaign that sent you, browser, operating system, device type, approximate location (country, region, city), how far you scroll and how long the page stays open. It doesn't store your IP address or browser string: they are combined with a salt that changes daily into a visitor count, and the salt is deleted every 24 hours. Nothing goes to Plausible's company or to advertisers.
We don't sell your data.
4. Cookies and browser storage
- Device ID (browser storage and a cookie of the same name): counts the free drafts. Kept until you clear your browser data.
- Bot-check pass (cookie): shows you passed the Turnstile check; 24 hours.
- Your last choices in the writer and whether you answered the survey (browser storage), so the form comes back as you left it.
- Our visit counts (Plausible) use no cookies and no browser storage.
5. Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it: email support@restaurantemailkit.com from the address concerned. We complete requests within 30 days.
6. Children
The Service is for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 13. We don't knowingly collect their data; if you believe a child has given us personal data, email support@restaurantemailkit.com and we will delete it.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. Changes are posted on this page with a new date. See also the Terms.
